Our Company
1986 – Where it all began…Huber & Associates was launched by two electrical engineers who had the minds for computer systems and the hearts for helping people find solutions to problems. Initially, Huber operated out of the newlyweds’ first home, where gray metal computer processors served as end tables.
1993 - Elizabeth began working for the family company full-time and became its chief executive officer and majority shareholder. That allowed Jim to devote himself completely to the role of chief technology officer. Huber & Associates became certified as a woman-owned and operated company.
While their expertise in cutting-edge technology has been key to their business success, Elizabeth also credits Jim’s early experience in public safety. As a teenager, he worked as a dispatcher in the county sheriff’s office, gaining an appreciation for going to the aid of people in distress.
“Even today, he’s like a fireman looking for a fire,” Elizabeth says. “He loves to help people. If a business has lost its email or accounts receivable, it’s just as much a crisis as an automobile accident is. We take this job of helping people very seriously. Jim’s background has been a driving force in the business and its culture.”
2005 – Symbolizing great success, Huber & Associates move into its own building & purchases Enterpol a public safety software including computer aided dispatch, records management and jail management programs. Today, Enterpol has over 100 software users in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Carolina, Mississippi, Wyoming, Oregon, Michigan and Canada.
2011 – Huber & Associates celebrates its 25 year in business currently and employes 60 people, who work in the company’s 20,000-square-foot headquarters in Jefferson City, Mo., a branch office in Springfield, Mo., and five other satellite locations.
