Summer Outing

Our Fun Committee is busy planning a great Summer Outing and wanted to share a few details so you can prepare accordingly

  • When: Friday, August 4th from 9:00am – 1:00pm
  • Where: Strikers (2017 Christy Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65101)
  • Who: All Huber Staff (no significant others or guests)*It is expected that all employees (including remote staff) will attend unless they make arrangements with their manager and get approval to miss it
  • You are welcome to dress casual, Huber shirts are encouraged but not required
  • Meet at Strikers facility at 9:00am and we will be finished around 1:00pm for an early out day*It is less than a 5 minute drive from the Jefferson City Huber offices
  • We will have 2 service opportunities available for those that would like the chance to volunteer for a good cause / team building before and after the Summer Outing*These are both optional, you can select to do one, both or neither of them (There is a field to RSVP for these activities below on the RSVP form)
  1. Clean Up at McKay Park (7:30am)
  2. Work in the Habitat for Humanity Store (2:00pm)
  • You must RSVP HERE and let us know the following information by Friday, July 14th:
  1. Do you plan to attend the Summer Outing?
  2. Do you want to participate in the bowling tournament during the Summer Outing?
  3. Do you want to help clean up McKay Park at 7:30am before the Summer Outing?
  4. Do you want to work in the Habitat for Humanity Store at 2:00pm after the Summer Outing?
  • Itinerary:
    • 9:00am: Welcome Announcements
    • 9:15am – 12:30pm: Open play to enjoy the entire facility (available activities listed below)
    • 9:30am: Bowling tournament begins (this is optional)
    • 11:00am – 12:30pm: Buffet lunch is available (Nacho/Taco – beef, chicken and pulled pork)
    • 12:30pm: Presentation / announcements
    • 1:00pm: Event concludes
  • Activities available at Strikers:
    • Tournament and Non-tournament Bowling:
      • Must bring socks if you want to bowl or you can purchase socks from vending machine for $2 if you forget
      • Shoes will be provided
    • Arcade Games:
      • All games will be free play, EXCEPT for those that offer prizes (ex:  The Claw)
    • HD Sports Simulators:
      • 2 bays offering the following sports:
      • Archery, baseball, basketball, bocce, bowling, carnival toss, cornhole, dodgeball,
      • football, footgolf, golf, handball, hockey, horseshoes, lacrosse, shooting, and soccer
    • Pool Tables
